A few months ago we announced the addition of “Business Day” (March 1) to the Nobel Peace Prize Forum. If you haven’t done so already, we encourage students, professionals, and others to review the full schedule of sessions and speakers for that day, which will focus on how trade, business innovation, sustainability, and international investment play a role in the price of peace.
Space is limited, so register soon online: http://nobelpeaceprizeforum.org/2012-program/
Featured keynote speakers include:
Saki Macozoma, a prominent figure in South African business and politics who has worked closely with Nelson Mandela, F.W. de Klerk (also a 2012 speaker!), and Desmond Tutu
Alf Bjorseth, the CEO of an international renewable energy company whose business has diffused tension in areas of unrest by providing communities with reliable, affordable, and renewable energy
*Cost: $20 for students, $40 for general public (Note: each day is ticketed separately)
*March 1, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM at the Humphrey School for Public Affairs (on the University of Minnesota West Bank campus)
And this is just Business Day! The Forum is also comprised of additional days filled with inspiration, dialogue, and connections dedicated to Arts and Music, Education and Global Studies. Visit nobelpeaceprizeforum.org for full event details.
